ARRM Leadership Institute

About the Program

The ARRM Leadership Institute, ALI, is a new training series for rising stars of Home and Community-Based Service (HCBS) organizations. Developed by HCBS executives, program directors and training managers, this four-part program is designed to build the skills and knowledge necessary to become future leaders of the disability services world.

The Training

ALI is designed to develop both the necessary knowledge needed for HCBS organizations, but also personal communications and leadership skills necessary to manage programs and contribute to the success of their organization. Over the course of the year, ALI attendees will receive hands-on instruction for topics such as:

  • Supervising employees
  • Managing time and workload
  • Ethics and values
  • Coaching, leading, and delegation

The training is intended to build a cohort of trainees who will develop valuable connections with each other, learn and engage with one another. The yearlong program consists of four day-long sessions.
