Our Assisted Living Agency is rapidly expanding with the addition of a brand new, state-of-the-art, supported living apartment community serving residents age 55 or older. We are looking for the most compassionate and results-driven talent; someone committed to the highest level of resident care and successful growth of the agency.
The Registered Nurse provides clinical services to the residents of the facility and provides training/consultation services to direct care staff. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for managing a heavy caseload; therefore, time management skills are essential.
Pay: $35-$45 per hour with a $500 sign on bonus

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care plans by working with support team members.
Provide resident care in accordance with individual care plans, physician orders, and treatment needs.
Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in resident conditions.
Provide recommendations to modify resident health treatment plans as indicated by resident conditions and responses.
Provide recommendations for devices or tools that might improve resident quality of life.
Provide guidance and education to staff to assist in continually improving all aspects of services.
Provide phone consultations for staff on medication or other health-related inquiries or concerns.
Provide supervision to staff in the performance of delegated nursing tasks as permitted by the Department of Health.
Conduct periodic staff training on health and safety-related topics as requested.
Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports.
Administer medication and prescribed treatment(s) to residents while observing for side effects and/or reactions.
Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws as well as internal policies and procedures, following rules of best practice.
Demonstrate safe and appropriate techniques while providing resident care.
Demonstrate active listening and exceptional customer service, ensuring that resident questions and/or concerns are addressed promptly.
Stay informed of changes in the field of nursing and health care; sharing information with appropriate organization personnel.
Current Minnesota Nursing License.
Minimum of two years of Assisted Living experience required.
Must display an understanding of local, state and federal laws and guidelines.
Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with Electronic Health Record systems preferred.
Must successfully pass a background check and maintain background clearance.
