Call for Presenters

ARRM’s 2026 education program is now open and we are accepting presentation proposals for all of our training formats, including webinars, workshops, and conference sessions. Presenters are welcome to submit more than one topic and can choose any event format that fits their idea, whether it is an in-person session, a virtual training, or a practical resource.

We are especially interested in experienced virtual presenters and strong, engaging content for our online offerings.

What ARRM Looks For

ARRM welcomes a wide range of topics designed for audiences from DSPs to CEOs. Proposals will be selected based on the following:

  • Relevance: Does the session address a core operational, workforce, or service issue for Minnesota’s HCBS providers, or offer helpful insight into emerging trends?

  • Quality and impact: Is the content clear, engaging, objective, and based on solid information or proven practices? Does it leave participants with practical takeaways?

  • Alignment: Does the session provide unique value that supports ARRM’s mission and overall goals?

When reviewing submissions, ARRM focuses on the session description and the key takeaways identified for attendees.

ARRM seeks a strong partnership with its presenters for all events, and is willing to work with you to meet your requirements, the association’s, and most importantly, presentation attendees.

Presenting with ARRM

What you can expect...

  • Clear and timely communication from ARRM staff

  • Reliable technical support so you can focus on delivering your session

  • Opportunities to reach a wider audience and grow as a presenter

What we ask of presenters...

  • Responsive communication throughout planning

  • A session that reflects the content and takeaways outlined in the proposal

  • Presentation materials delivered on time and arrival to the session or virtual platform as scheduled

ARRM is able to work with presenters on speakers fees and travel expenses, but as a non-profit association we ask presenters to work with us to find a reasonable meeting point. Presentations delivered as an in-kind contribution can also be compensated with comparable sponsorship opportunities.

Proposal Selection

ARRM and its committees review proposals on a rolling basis throughout the year. Most selections are made at least two months before the event, and for ARRM’s four major events, final selections are typically made at least three months in advance.

Presenters may note if they prefer to speak at one of our major events. While ARRM will consider these preferences, we may recommend a different program if it is a better fit for the topic or audience.

After submitting a proposal, presenters will receive a confirmation email. A follow up message will be sent within two months to share whether the proposal is moving forward for consideration.

Unless a proposal clearly does not meet ARRM’s criteria, it will remain on file for future opportunities, even if it is not selected during the current year.

Event Submission Deadlines

ARRM and its committees will select proposals on a rolling basis throughout the year, and approximately two months ahead of the event for which they are selected, barring special circumstances. For ARRM’s four major events, final selections may be made further in advance.

Tentative Selection Period

  • April-May: Summer Business & Finance Forum
  • February-April: Annual Conference
  • June-July: Leadership Conference
  • October: Winter Business & Finance Forum
