About This Session
The I/DD field is in a moment of profound transition—and with it comes both challenge and opportunity. Providers are experiencing the combined weight of workforce shortages, funding pressures, and heightened payer expectations, all while navigating the shift toward managed care and performance-based contracting. These forces can feel daunting, but they are also an invitation to reimagine how we work. At the same time, advances in data and artificial intelligence (AI) offer unprecedented opportunities to strengthen our supports, ease administrative burdens, and most importantly, improve outcomes for the people and communities we serve.
