Legislative Update: Human Service Omnibus on House floor Tuesday

By Sara Grafstrom posted 04-24-2023 08:30

Last week, the Senate Human Service Omnibus bill was passed off the Senate floor with a vote of 63-4. ARRM released this action alert, thanking Senators for their support of this bill and the important provisions that would increase funding for disability waiver services and services provided in an ICF/DD. If you have not had an opportunity to respond to the action alert, please do so today!

Looking ahead to this week, the Human Service Omnibus bill will be debated on the House floor this Tuesday, April 25th. Following passage on the House floor, a conference committee made up of members of the Senate and House will be formed to develop a joint Human Service proposal.

ARRM will be sharing information with members as soon as that conference committee is formed, as well as action steps for members to take as the Human Service Conference Committee debate begins.

Please reach out with any questions.
