Bio

I am the Director of Organizational Operations for Winter Development Group, a conglomerate primarily, but not exclusively, providing services to people with severe and profound intellectual disabilities, often coupled with behavioral challenges.

I earned my juris doctorate, magna cum laude, from Hamline University School of Law with an optional course concentration in business representation. I studied corporate formation and operation, corporate finance, securities, business and personal taxation, antitrust, commercial real estate, healthcare law, insurance law, and the law as it applies to non-profit entities. I wrote extensively on the interplay between the law, economics, and public policy aims

I am both capable and experienced in dealing with people of varying levels of education and experience. I am adept with bringing together groups of differing experiences, objectives, and vernaculars, including within multidisciplinary teams.

Throughout my life, regardless of employment position or educational program, the chief good and market of my time has always been my ability to research in a highly comprehensive, balanced, and dynamic manner, determining the rules and boundary conditions that apply to a given state or circumstance, and to write about my research topics in an evocative, advocative, and precise fashion. I am driven to resolve out all alternative arguments to a compelling, rather than sufficient, degree. I am maniacal about word selection, argumentative structure, and the rules of grammar. I am a quick expert, regardless of the topic, but able to synthesize even complex topics for understanding by varying audiences. In addition to content creation, I am also familiar with publication of content across multiple mediums and adept with most content creation and publication software.

Although intense with regards to my research and writing I am an approachable and easy-going person. Despite individual drive I am at ease with participating in group discernments and projects and relish alternative viewpoints. Despite advocacy, I value respectfulness and inquiry in discourse. I have a fluency in sarcasm, but in an under-the-breath fashion. Although adept at drawing distinctions in minute points, I have a keen eye for the big picture of a project or situation which makes me valuable and at home in multi-disciplinary teams and policy-oriented discussions. I have experience in grant-funded and quasi-governmental projects, including participation in the application and reporting phases.
