Making Your Training Count: Variety is the
spice of life
October 7, 2010 in Brainerd
About the Workshop
Time has told us the mandatory paperwork and 8 hours of videos is not an effective training method for our new employees. So, how do we teach them effectively and check for understanding? How do we structure effective on-going training for our long term employees?

What to Expect
This workshop will help you and your agency develop an up-to-date, inclusive and complete training package. You will learn about different learning styles, generational learning, teaching techniques (i.e lecture, face to face, one on one, hands on, etc.) and how to match content with best teaching technique. You will have ample opportunity to ask questions and hear how others are meeting these important training needs.
