Both the Minnesota Vulnerable Adults Act and the Maltreatment of Minors Act received "due process" overhauls that accord new reconsideration processes for individuals who face disqualification for serious and recurring maltreatment. This video highlights key legislative changes, in particular, the new reportable therapeutic error category in the VAA. To demonstrate how this new reporting category fits in the entire VAA context, Attorney Sam Orbovich provides an overview for the VAA, as well as implementation tips.
