ARRM membership renewal underway

Your ARRM membership technically ends on June 30, 2009, so we are in the process of mailing out renewal letters for Organizational and Associate members. Besides getting a hard copy, you will also receive an electronic renewal letter in your email inbox with links to the online forms for Orgnizational renewals, Associate renewals, and membership policies.

This year, we had many successes and "wins" in defense of Minnesota's $6.4 billion deficit:

• Reducing the rate cut to 2.58%

• Defeating the proposed license fee increase

• Passing all the major elements of our Transformation/Reform the System Plan

• Building a strong working relationship with DHS

• Successfully negotiating a workable waiver contract

• Making sure our nonprofit members will be exempt from property and sales tax

We know that times are tough, and we at ARRM are watching every penny we spend. In recognition of tight budgets, we are reducing Organizational member dues by five percent.

Additionally, ARRM is offering a Full conference registration for the 2010 Annual ARRM Conference for each Organizational member who submits their renewal form by June 30, 2009.

With ARRM members reinvesting in the Association, we hope to be ahead of the curve by acting proactively, rather than reacting to what others -- like government agencies -- propose.
