Get on the Listserv!
By Frank Anderson, ARRM Deputy Director

DHS has issued a Stakeholder Listerv Announcement to establish an Internet mailing list for information for stakeholders regarding important DHS activity. The following announcement tells you how to get on the list. Please follow the directions in detail, including removing all other text from the body of the message, even the messages your system automatically adds to messages like names and warnings about confidentiality.

DSD Stakeholder Listserv Announcement
The listserv is an Internet mailing list used to send information to a large group of people by e-mail. DSD has created a NEW stakeholder listserv open to advocates, consumers, counties, DHS staff, disability organizations, legislators, providers, tribes and others who register to be part of the group. There is no charge to use the listserv. The DSD Stakeholder Listserv will broadcast announcements only. Subscribers are not able to reply to e-mails or use the listserv to provide feedback to DSD.

DSD will use the listserv to announce:
- Potential policy changes
- E-mail addresses for public comments when applicable
- New or changed policy
- Links to the DHS/DSD Web site when applicable
- Training information
- Other announcements as needed

How to Subscribe and Unsubscribe to the DSD Stakeholder Listserv

The DSD Stakeholder Listserv is an automated system that works through the e-mail process. DSD staff do not have the ability to add and remove people from the listserv. Please follow the following instructions carefully as the system is very precise.

Please make every effort to assure that your e-mail address is always correct. When you have a change in e-mail address due to a name change or moving, etc., please unsubscribe from the listserv and subscribe again with the new name and e-mail address. It’s important to follow this process if your e-mail changes so that you won’t miss important information.
