2007 Events - Recap

ARRM members will plan and participate in community events during the week of October 5 through 11, 2008 to celebrate Community Enrichment Week. The overall goal of Community Enrichment Week is to showcase contributions people with disabilities can make to their community as well as encourage understanding and acceptance of people with all abilities.

Over the past several years during Disability Awareness Month (October), ARRM has mobilized volunteers from around the state to make contributions to their communities through civic projects, collecting food, raking a neighbors yard, helping the elderly, or cleaning up local parks.

There will be no central metro event this year. Instead, ARRM will publicize your event!

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR CEW 2008?

We encourage you to send these to your local media or city officials to gain even more recognition for the great work we do in our communities.

Throughout it's history, Community Enrichment Week has been exceptionally successful. Thank you for joining us again this year to make this event a celebration of our communities!
