2017 ARRM Annual Conference

Call for Presenters

The annual ARRM spring conference draws more than 1,200 people actively involved in community-based services and is the largest conference for the Minnesota private disability services industry. Attendees include direct care staff to upper management from an array of organizations across the state that provide diverse services to people with developmental, cognitive, physical and traumatic brain injury disabilities. We want to ensure our conference provides an opportunity to share ideas, learn best practices and explore new techniques in working with individuals.

ARRM is seeking proposals for presentations that match the theme of this year's conference: Agents of Change: Mission Possible.

Presentation proposals should address how they will create “agents of change” to take on challenges, think outside the box and reach the aspirations of our industry and the people we serve. Presentations can be 60 or 90 minutes and should address topics in one, two, or all three primary areas: technology utilization, service and business innovation, and leadership development.

The deadline for proposal submission was December 31, 2016 and is now closed.  All proposals will be reviewed by the ARRM Conference Committee.  Selections will be announced in January of 2017. All persons submitting proposals will be notified of the selection decisions for each proposal they submit.  In order for our committee to decide which proposals to consider for the 2017 conference, it is important that your session description accurately reflects your presentation content.

***Please note that approved presenters are expected to provide electronic copies of all presentation materials to ARRM ahead of the conference, to be provided to attendees.
